These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RankLocal software-as-a-service platform (“Service”), owned and operated by Echobooom Management & Entrepreneurial Solutions Private Limited (“Echobooom,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.


1. Definitions

  1. “Account” – Your RankLocal user profile used to access the Service.
  2. “Service” – The RankLocal platform including dashboards, tools, analytics, APIs, AI modules, and all features offered.
  3. “Content” – Any information, text, images, or data submitted, generated, or displayed through the Service.
  4. “Google Business Profile (GBP)” – Your verified Google listing connected to the platform.
  5. “User,” “You” – Any individual or entity using RankLocal.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, connecting a GBP, or using any RankLocal feature, you agree to these Terms.

3. Service Overview

RankLocal is a cloud-based visibility and local SEO optimization platform designed to help businesses analyze, manage, and enhance their Google Business Profiles.

RankLocal uses official Google APIs to fetch data such as reviews, ratings, insights, and listing attributes.

Data Handling Clarification

RankLocal may temporarily process or securely store limited Google API data strictly for functionality (audits, optimization insights, competitor intelligence).

No Google-fetched data is shared with third parties.

Registration details (name, email, phone, business ID) are stored for authentication and billing purposes.


4. Account Registration & Security

To use RankLocal, you must provide accurate and complete information.

You are responsible for:

  1. Keeping your login credentials confidential
  2. Ensuring only authorized people access your account
  3. Notifying Echobooom of unauthorized access

Multiple or fraudulent accounts may result in suspension or termination.


5. Subscription Plans & Payments

RankLocal operates on a subscription model.

By purchasing a plan, you authorize Echobooom or its payment partners to charge your selected payment method.

  1. Prices are in INR unless stated otherwise
  2. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
  3. Payments are non-refundable
  4. Mid-cycle cancellations do not qualify for prorated refunds
  5. Failure to pay may restrict access or suspend your account

Payments are processed securely by authorized third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe).


6. Premium Features & Access Levels

Some features are available only under paid plans, including:

One-Click Optimization

  1. Updates categories, business description, service lists, and other GBP elements
  2. Manual edits should be avoided for 72 hours after optimization
  3. Limit: up to 3 optimizations per profile per year
  4. By using this feature, you authorize RankLocal to apply changes to your GBP

Reply with AI

  1. Generates AI-based review reply suggestions
  2. You must review and approve before posting
  3. Echobooom is not responsible for appropriateness of AI-generated responses

Other features (Keyword Insights, Competitor Analysis, Audit Reports) are accessible based on your chosen subscription.


7. Google Connection Requirement

Most features require a connected, verified Google Business Profile.

Without a Google connection, certain dashboards may:

  1. Not function
  2. Show limited or no data
  3. Become temporarily unavailable


8. User Responsibilities

By using RankLocal, you agree to:

✔ Provide true, updated information

✔ Use the platform only for lawful and legitimate business purposes

✔ Comply with Google Business Profile policies

✔ Avoid uploading harmful, illegal, or misleading content

✔ Not engage in fake reviews, category misuse, or keyword stuffing

You are solely responsible for your Google Business Profile activity.

Echobooom is not liable for any Google-initiated penalties, suspensions, or ranking changes.


9. Data Handling & Privacy

  1. RankLocal may temporarily retain Google API data strictly for functionality
  2. Registration and billing details are securely stored
  3. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be used to improve the platform
  4. Data is processed in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws

10. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload or approve.

By using the Service, you grant Echobooom a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and display your content solely for delivering the Service.


11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property—including software, algorithms, UI/UX, design assets, branding, analytics, and visual elements of RankLocal—is the exclusive property of Echobooom.

You may not:

  1. Copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer the platform
  2. Sell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Service
  3. Use RankLocal’s brand assets without express written consent


12. Third-Party Services

RankLocal relies on third-party services, including Google APIs.

You acknowledge that:

  1. Third-party platforms have their own terms
  2. Echobooom cannot control third-party outages or changes
  3. API limitations may impact performance temporarily


13. Use of AI Features

AI tools within RankLocal generate recommendations based on data provided and public signals.

You understand and agree that:

  1. AI outputs may not be accurate or context-perfect
  2. You must review and approve all AI-generated suggestions
  3. AI does not guarantee ranking improvement or increased revenue
  4. Echobooom is not liable for consequences arising from applied AI outputs


14. Fair Use Policy

Certain features operate under fair usage limits (e.g., Competitor Tracking, Keyword Pull, Audit Refresh).

Excessive usage may result in:

  1. Temporary throttling
  2. Additional charges
  3. Feature restrictions

Abuse or misuse may lead to account suspension.


15. Service Availability & Updates

RankLocal is provided on an “as is,” “as available” basis.

Echobooom does not guarantee:

  1. Continuous or error-free operation
  2. Immediate resolution of platform bugs
  3. Uninterrupted access during Google API outages

We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.


16. Account Termination

You may delete your account or cancel your subscription at any time.

Upon termination:

  1. Your access to the Service ends immediately
  2. No refunds will be issued
  3. Google API–linked data cannot be exported
  4. Registration details may remain stored for legal and audit purposes


17. Disclaimer of Warranties

Echobooom does not warrant that:

  1. RankLocal will operate without errors or delays
  2. Suggested optimizations will improve ranking or visibility
  3. AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate
  4. Third-party dependencies will remain stable

Your use of RankLocal is entirely at your own risk.


18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echobooom is not liable for:

  1. Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  2. Loss of profits, business, or data
  3. Google Business Profile suspensions, penalties, or ranking drops
  4. Issues arising from Google API restrictions or algorithm changes

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Echobooom in the preceding 12 months.


19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Echobooom and its employees from claims arising from:

  1. Misuse of the Service
  2. Violation of these Terms
  3. Breach of Google’s terms
  4. Unlawful, unethical, or defamatory use of RankLocal insights


20. Marketing & Communication Consent

By using RankLocal, you consent to receive:

  1. Operational updates
  2. Optimization alerts
  3. Feature announcements
  4. Promotional content
  5. Transactional communications

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.


21. Multi-Location Usage

A single subscription covers one Google Business Profile unless your plan explicitly includes multiple locations.

Managing additional locations requires an upgraded plan.


22. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.


23. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Any updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Echobooom regarding RankLocal and supersede all previous communications or agreements.
